I have devoted my life to studying materials and techniques to make work that will stand the test of time. While on a teaching scholarship, I received a Master of Fine Arts in Painting. I have been creating art professionally for over 20 years, and have taught college-level art and art history classes. When you purchase one of my works, you can rest assured that it is made with the finest materials and time-proven techniques.
Certificate of Authenticity
Each piece of original art purchased will be shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity. Every piece is signed on the front with additional information about the piece hand-written on the back: artist name, title of the work, year, medium, and dimensions.
shipping and insurance
Shipping for pieces up to 40×40 inches is free of charge within the United States. When you purchase a painting, it will be shipped via USPS, Fedex, or UPS (according to size) and insured. Multi-panel paintings requiring shipping crates will be shipped by private carrier and insured (additional charges apply). When you receive a painting, I ask that you please inspect it before signing for the delivery.
drawings & works on paper
Drawings and other works on paper are packaged between two protective layers: matte board on one side and foam core on the other. This drawing sandwich is shipped flat in a cardboard envelope and shipped USPS priority.
paintings 12×12 inches and larger
Paintings are shipped in specially made fine art boxes to prevent damage in transit. The art is encased in three layers of foam, and the boxes are lined with an ABS plastic puncture guard.
For paintings comprised of multiple canvases or panels (diptychs and triptychs), a wooden crate will be custom built to protect the painting in transit. When ordering these larger works, please email me with the piece you would like and your address. I will calculate shipping costs and create a custom shipping option for you to choose when you make your purchase. As soon as the shipping option is ready, I’ll let you know via email so you can place your order. Thanks for your patience!
