As humans we create paths, and as athletes we are obsessed with recording our performance, in this case the paths we create when riding our bikes, running, or hiking. Nowadays we can visualize the paths that we make using apps like Strava that record our rides and runs. In this painting, I’m imagining these paths over views of the landscape like those we’d see from an airplane.
This is an original oil and acrylic painting, signed on the front and hand labeled on the back by the artist. It is painted on cotton canvas stretched on wood stretcher bars. The canvas is gallery wrapped, meaning that the sides are smooth and painted white. It is 1.5 inch thick, wired in the back and ready to hang.
