Take it with you – Creating and Sustaining a Daily Art Practice

In this class, you will learn everything you need to know to begin (or rekindle!) a daily art-making practice. You’ll learn how to pack a portable drawing and watercolor kit, how to set up a workspace when you are traveling or when you don’t have a dedicated studio space, how to come up with projects, how to make time for your daily practice, and how to keep your practice going when life tries to get in the way. If you are looking for a creative boost, this class is for you!

This class is taught in person at the Sawtooth School for Visual Art in Winston-Salem, NC on Saturday August 14th @ 10am-2pm.

The 4 Foundations for a Thriving Art Practice

This course is for you if you want to:

Feel excited and energized about making art daily, or at least at a regular pace
Be free of head trash that comes from academic training & cultural conversations about what it means to be an artist
Move past the myth of the starving artist and learn new approaches that allow you to be more at ease with money
Learn the practical tools that allow you to live a fulfilling life as an artist

Private Instruction:

This is for you if you are looking for one-on-one instruction in drawing, painting or mixed media. One-hour minimum for drawing. Two-hour minimum for painting.
